Mascara- Luxury or Necessity?

If I have to chose one piece of make-up to wear, its going to be mascara. I always like to use a full, dramatic mascara to widen my eyes and intensify the colour. Different mascaras look good on different people but my favourite mascara is Dior Show, you can keep layering it all day and it won't get clumpy. I also find the'Night' brush of Day 2 Night, by Rimmel, great too. They both make my eyelashes triple in length and volume.

*Tip: To avoid your eyelashes from joining together, wiggle the brush in a small left to right movement as you move the brush from root to tip of your lashes and never use too much mascara!

Amber Orange

With the colour orange taking over shops this season for both clothes, and make-up, Amber has subtly matched the bright orange strap of her TopShop bra, to her Illimasqua lipstick (shown earlier in the blog).. x

Tip**: Here I have used eye shadow Primer Potion help the colours stand out and stay on.

Using two shades of purple, and one blue gives a strong look that I would happily wear in the day.
